Tia Gordon
Tia Gordon is a singer-songwriter from Kent, working in UK R&B, soul, neo soul and funk. Born in 1998, she begins releasing music in the early 2020s and builds a profile in the UK music scene through a run of solo singles and live appearances.
Career
Her debut single, Call Me, appears in 2022 and helps establish her as an emerging artist. In the same year, she finishes as runner-up in BBC Introducing Live Lounge. Later that year, Mahalia invites her to perform at the Christmas edition of Mahalia presents at Lafayette in London, where the event is sold out.
Releases
Gordon continues to release music steadily, with each track adding to her profile. She releases her debut EP in 2024, and her catalogue reaches just under one million streams across DSPs.
Support and development
She receives a Women Make Music grant, which she uses to record, mix, master and market a new EP planned for 2025.
