The Warriors

The Warriors are a London punk and oi group active since 1981. They are associated with the UK punk and oi scene and are known for changing shape over time while keeping the same name.

History

The band first comes together in 1982 when The Last Resort rename themselves after the Southall aftermath, at a point when gig opportunities are limited. In that form, The Warriors play only two gigs and appear on a couple of compilation albums before splitting up.

The name returns in 1995, when The Last Resort are invited to reform for a show. Only two original members are willing to take part, so the group continues under The Warriors name and is rebuilt around that identity.

The group includes Charlie Duggan, John Fisher, Arthur Kitchener and Roi Pearce.
