The Vendettas

The Vendettas are a hard rock group from Montréal, Canada. They form in 2009 and are described as playing a loud, high-energy mix of rock and roll, hard rock, punk and modern Swedish-influenced rock.

The band is made up of lead vocalist Steve Redden, guitarist Jared Mattern, bassist James Rogers and drummer Rick Van Der Meer. Their earlier line-up description presents them as five musicians from Melbourne, but the group is identified here as based in Montréal.

Releases

The Vendettas release their debut album, Burn, in 2010. Their later studio album, Who’s Who In The Zoo, appears in 2025.

Their songs are presented as forceful live material built around heavy riffs, anthem-like hooks and a raw stage sound.
