The Uplifter enters the dub and roots reggae circuit in 2002 and builds a reputation through touring across the UK and performing abroad in the USA and New Zealand. The act presents roots, dub and traditional ska music, and its shows feature live percussion, visuals and guest musicians.

The Uplifter also appears on the nationwide Dub to Dubstep tour alongside Channel One Sound System, bringing roots music to new audiences.
