The Summer Set
The Summer Set are a pop rock band from Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. The group forms in 2007 and remains active. It includes Brian Dales on vocals, John Gomez on guitar, backing vocals and piano, Stephen Gomez on bass, Josh Montgomery on guitar, and Jess Bowen on drums.
The band’s line-up is centred on these five members, with Dales as vocalist and the Gomez brothers and Montgomery covering the instrumental roles alongside Bowen’s drumming. Their sound sits within pop punk, pop rock and rock.
The band announces a split in 2017, then reforms in 2021 and returns with the single “Street Lightning”.
