The Stanfields

The Stanfields are a Canadian group from Halifax, Nova Scotia, active since 2008. Their line-up includes Craig Eugene Harris, Jon Landry, Jason MacIsaac, Mark Murphy and Jason Wright.

The band plays a mix of rock and roll, bluegrass, Celtic and blues, and is associated with Celtic rock, Celtic punk and folk rock. Their sound draws on the post-industrial towns of Nova Scotia, and they are known for kitchen-party harmonies, a strong rhythm section, a high-energy live show and close musical chemistry.

The group performs with an emphatic stage approach that gives their shows a restless, high-intensity character.
