The Shrine

The Shrine are a rock and roll group from Los Angeles, associated with Venice. They describe their sound as psychedelic violence rock and roll, and they are tagged with stoner rock, hard rock, punk, stoner and rock.

Line-up

The current members are Josh Landau on guitar and vocals, Corey Parks on bass, and Jeff Murray on drums. Former members include Court Murphy on bass from 2010 to 2017, and Barrett Avner on guitar in 2017.

Releases

The band’s discography includes The Shrine S/T, Featherheads and Bless Off Demo, all released in 2011, followed by Primitive Blast in 2012, Bless Off in 2014, Rare Breed in 2015, and Cruel World EP in 2019. Their first album is produced by Chuck Dukowski of Black Flag and SST Records.
