The Shivers

The Shivers are an American alternative country group from Texas, United States. They form in Austin in 1989, with Carey Kemper and Kelly Bell as the founding members. The band releases two albums internationally on Restless Records in the United States and Glitterhouse Records in Europe, with releases appearing in 1994 and 1996. The group bases itself alternately in Portland, Oregon and Minneapolis, Minnesota, rather than remaining in one city.

The band also applies for and receives copyright status for the name The Shivers in 1994.
