The Rumour Said Fire
The Rumour Said Fire is a Danish indie folk band formed in Copenhagen in 2008. The group is led by Jesper Lidang and is active from 2008 to the present. Its members are Jesper Lidang, Søren Lilholt, Kasper Nissen and Christian Rindorf.
The band’s line-up includes Lidang on vocals and guitar, Lilholt on guitar and vocals, Nissen on bass, and Rindorf on drums. Early in its career, the group releases a four-track EP, later reissued with two extra songs. Its debut album, The Arrogant, follows in 2010.
The Rumour Said Fire builds its profile on songs including “Love for the Tortured” and “The Balcony”.
