The Rubens
The Rubens are an Australian alternative rock band from New South Wales, active since 2011. The group forms around three brothers and a childhood friend: Zaac Margin, Elliott Margin, Sam Margin and Scott Baldwin, with William Zeglis also listed as a member.
Style and background
The band starts out with blues and soul influences and later moves towards an indie rock sound. Their early influences include The Black Keys, The Rolling Stones and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. They are associated with indie rock and blues, alongside their broader alternative rock style.
