The Rockingbirds
The Rockingbirds are a British country-rock band from Camden, London, formed in 1990. The group’s lineup includes singer-songwriter Alan Tyler, singer and tambourine player Sean Read, guitarist Andy Hackett and drummer Dave Morgan. The line-up in their history also includes pedal steel guitarist Patrick Arbuthnot and bassist Dave Goulding, and Dave Morgan is noted as a former member of the Weather Prophets.
The band works across country rock and related alt-country and rock territory. During their active period they release two albums and a set of singles. Their recorded output is associated with the 1990s.
