The Rainbreakers
The Rainbreakers are a four-piece alternative rock and pop group from Shrewsbury, UK, formed in late 2012. The band performs extensively across the UK and builds its sound around bluesy undertones and a mix of rock and pop influences.
Line-up
The group consists of brothers Ben Edwards on vocals and guitar and Sam Edwards on drums, alongside Peter Adams on bass and Jack Cooper on lead guitar. Cooper is a later addition to the band.
Musical style and influences
The Rainbreakers’ original material combines different genres and styles. Ben Edwards’ lyrics draw influence from writers including Adam Duritz, Paul Weller and Bob Marley, while Jack Cooper’s guitar playing is shaped by artists such as Gary Clark Jr, The Black Keys, John Mayer and The Beatles.
