The Priscillas

The Priscillas are a UK garage rock group fronted by Jenny Drag on vocals, with Guri Go-Go on guitar, Kate Kannibal on bass and Hege Hotpants on drums. They release material on Damaged Goods, the label associated with acts including Holly Golightly, The Headcoatees, The Manic Street Preachers, The Buzzcocks and Billy Childish.

The group releases two singles, Gonna Rip Up Your Photograph / Brain Surgeon and All My Friends Are Zombies, together with a mini-album on CD, Aloha From Holloway. The singles sell out, and the band receives radio play on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music, Xfm and WFMU. They also perform sessions for Marc Riley on BBC 6Music, appear twice on 6Music's breakfast show, and record sessions for Resonance FM and WFMU in New York.

The Priscillas' videos circulate heavily in Topshop stores across Europe, and Photograph is voted into the shops' top 40 videos of the year. The band tours widely and plays dates across the UK, the USA, Spain, France, Holland, Belgium, Norway, Ireland and Switzerland. Festival appearances include Benidorm's Wild Weekend, Glastonbury, Leeds Carling Weekend, Bestival, The Big Chill, Lost Vagueness and Ireland's Electric Picnic.

They also share bills with The Cramps, The Damned, Art Brut, The Subways, The Rezillos, The Monks and The 5,6,7,8s, and are once supported by James Blunt.
