THE MINUTES

The Minutes are a rock ’n’ roll group from Dublin, Ireland, active since 2006. The band line-up includes Mark Austin on lead vocals and guitar, Shane Kinsella on drums and Tom Cosgrave on bass guitar. Their style is associated with Dublin rock ’n’ roll, as well as indie, garage rock, rock and alternative rock.

Albums and recordings

The band releases a debut album, Marcata, followed by Live Well, Change Often. That second album is recorded in Vancouver at Fader Sound Studios, with additional production in Dublin. GGGarth Richardson produces it; Chris Shaw and Chris Lord-Alge handle mixing in New York and Los Angeles respectively. The group’s first single from the album is Cherry Bomb.

Touring and live activity

The Minutes tour widely, with performances in America, Russia, the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Holland and Belgium. Their live schedule includes appearances at SXSW in Texas, the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, T in the Park in Scotland, the Leeds/Reading festival in the UK, Europavox in France and Eurosonic in Holland. They also tour and perform with The Hives, Flogging Molly, Foo Fighters and Kings of Leon.
