The Lunar Effect

The Lunar Effect is a London-based group active since 2014. It begins as a project started by solo artist Mark Fuller and DeepSeaGreen guitarist Jon Jefford, and it is associated with blues, desert rock, grunge, psychedelic rock, rock and stoner rock.

The group’s early idea is to make raw, unpolished music with a deliberately rough recording approach. Its stated aim is to work in a dirty, homemade grunge style, with punk and new wave influences, and to keep the sound cheap, gritty and imperfect rather than highly edited or polished.
