The Legendary Tiger Man

The Legendary Tiger Man is the solo persona of Portuguese musician Paulo Furtado. He works as a one-man band and is associated with blues traditions from the Mississippi, drawing on the model of blues performers who play alone with improvised rhythm sections in dance halls in the deep south.

Career

Under this name, Furtado has released five albums: Naked Blues, Fuck Christmas, I Got The Blues, Masquerade and Femina. He performs in Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium and Japan.

Other projects

Furtado is also the lead singer and guitarist in the Portuguese rock band Wraygunn. Before that, he plays in the Portuguese rockabilly group Tédio Boys.
