The LaFontaines
The LaFontaines are an alternative rock group from Motherwell, Scotland, active since 2009. The band features One Nine, Jamie Keenan, Darren McCaughey and Kerr Okan. Their music combines alternative rock with hip-hop, pop and electro elements, and they play live instruments both on stage and in the studio.
Their songs often include socially conscious lyrics, and their sound is shaped by an identifiable Scottish lead vocal. The group forms at the end of the 2000s and develops a local following through energetic live performances.
Live activity
The LaFontaines appear at venues including King Tuts and the Carling Academy, and they play festival sets at Live at Loch Lomond Festival in 2008 and on the T Break stage at T in the Park in 2011.
