The King Bains are a two-piece rock and blues group from the United Kingdom, formed in late 2010. The band consists of Jim Harrison and Mike Dolton.

Background

Before forming The King Bains, Harrison and Dolton play together in a heavy rock band, where one performs as drummer and the other as guitarist. The new project gives them a separate platform as a duo.

Recording

After three rehearsals, the group records a demo using four microphones. The recording marks an early stage in the band's output and reflects a raw approach to their sound.
