The Golden Strands
The Golden Strands are an indie rock group from the Isle of Wight. The band features both female and male vocals, and their sound draws on a range of influences including Muse, Nick Cave and Stevie Wonder. Their music is described as combining those influences into a vibrant, dirty sound.
Releases
The group releases the EP Thief In The Night in 2011. It also records a debut album at Skinny Mammoth studios.
Live activity
The Golden Strands play a number of live dates including headlining The Joiners Arms in Southampton, and appearances at Bestival, VDub Festival, Ventnor Fringe and the Isle of Wight Festival.
