The Golden Strands are an indie/rock band from the Isle Of Wight, featuring female and male vocals. They merge diverse influences ranging from Muse, to Nick Cave and Stevie Wonder, to create a sexy, dirty and vibrant sound.
The band released Thief In The Night EP in 2011, and are set to release their debut album later this year, recorded at Skinny Mammoth studios. Tracks from both can be heard at www.thegoldenstrands.com
Recent gigs include headlining The Joiners Arms in Southampton, Bestival 2011 and 2012, VDub Festival 2012, Ventnor Fringe 2012 and Isle Of Wight Festival 2013.
