The Go Set

The Go Set are a punk and folk punk group from Melbourne, Australia, active since 2002. They form around singer/songwriter J. Keenan and bassist Mark Moran, who create the project by drawing on the music they grow up with, including traditional Celtic and folk music as well as early 1970s punk rock.

The group’s sound combines punk rock guitars and a rock-and-roll approach with folk instrumentation, including bagpipes, accordion and mandolin. Their music also carries a political perspective and social conscience, and is described as raw, loud and powerful.
