The Dole

The Dole is a Belgian group from Belgium. The band forms after a long period without a fixed line-up, during which its founders focus mainly on writing songs. When the line-up finally comes together, the group enters an intensive three-week rehearsal period, working from early morning to late at night.

Style and approach

The band rejects narrow genre thinking and aims to reach as wide an audience as possible. Its members want to make music that is qualitatively strong, stimulating and interesting, while still remaining accessible and also experienced as individual by the listener.

Line-up

The Dole consists of Dennis Mathysen on vocals, guitar and keys; Robin Vanderhallen on guitar and keys; Niels Antonissen on guitar and keys; Matthias Dziwak on bass and keys; and Rico Vanderhallen on drums.
