The Delines
The Delines are a Portland alt-country band active since 2013. They work in alternative country, folk rock and rock, and are also described as a US alt-country group. Their songs are known for a melancholic, story-driven style.
Formation and lineup
The group is founded by novelist and songwriter Willy Vlautin, who formerly plays in Richmond Fontaine, and vocalist Amy Boone, who is from The Damnations TX. The lineup also includes Tucker Jackson, and has included Jenny Conlee of The Decemberists and Sean Oldham.
