The Davenports are a New York-based power pop and indie pop project led by songwriter Scott Klass. The group is centred on guitar-driven melodic pop and songs that combine detailed storytelling with wit and irony.

Background

Scott Klass is the core of the act and is based in Brooklyn. Before The Davenports, he plays alongside Chris Collingwood in a previous band with the Fountains of Wayne frontman. The Davenports’ line-up includes Angela Webster, Tommy Borscheid, and Thomas Ward, and the project has also included members of They Might Be Giants and Candy Butchers.
