The Curious Incident

The Curious Incident is a UK group whose music combines pop and rock with a Caribbean influence, and is also associated with soca, soul, indie, stoner rock and psychedelic styles. The band is founded by Kairo and, after several line-up changes, is centred on Kairo and Diaz Tanurrezal.

The group has links to Cape Town in South Africa, London and the Netherlands. It builds a self-described crossover sound intended to bring together land-based rock listeners and a more surf-oriented feel.

The Curious Incident has received airplay and playlist support on Spotify and Deezer, and has appeared on BBC2 and 3FM in the Netherlands. All five of the tracks submitted to BBC Introducing are featured, and the band also receives spot plays on XFM, BBC Suffolk, Absolute Radio, Wizard Radio and Amazing Radio. It appears on television performances on London Live and in South Africa.
