The Commoners

The Commoners are a rock band from Toronto, Canada. They are a four-piece group made up of Chris Medhurst on vocals and guitar, Ben Spiller on bass, Ross Citrullo on lead guitar, and Adam Cannon on drums. Their sound sits within americana, blues rock, hard rock, and roots rock.

The band cites the Black Crowes as a major influence, alongside Derek Trucks, Marcus King, and the Allman Brothers, and says these artists shape the kind of music it aims to make. The Commoners release the album No Stranger in 2016, followed by Find a Better Way in 2022.
