The Bottle Rockets are an American alternative country and rock group from Festus, Missouri, active since 1992. Their sound is also associated with cowpunk, heartland rock, outlaw country, roots rock and southern rock.

Line-up

The group includes Brian Henneman, Mark Ortmann, Tom Parr, Tom Ray and Robert Kearns. Henneman and Ortmann are original members. Henneman handles vocals and guitar, Ortmann plays drums, Parr plays guitar, Ray plays bass and Kearns is also listed among the group’s members. Earlier line-ups also include John Horton on guitar and Keith Voegele on bass.

Career

The Bottle Rockets form in Festus in 1992 and release their self-titled debut album in 1993. They go on to issue ten studio albums in total. The band remains active.
