The Bends

The Bends are a Swedish rock group. The name has been used by more than one band, including a Canadian act from St. Catharines and a five-piece acoustic/indie rock group from Teesside. The Teesside group performs under the name The Bends and plays acoustic and indie rock with catchy choruses and melodic arrangements. It is based in Stockton-on-Tees and is unsigned.

Line-up

The Teesside line-up includes Mark Crosby on vocals and rhythm guitar, Jimmy Fleming on lead guitar, Dan Williams on bass guitar, Paul Everett on keyboards and synths, and Craig Dick on drums and percussion.

Other notable details

The Canadian group of the same name is from St. Catharines and wins the 2011 Niagara Music Awards Original Group of the Year. It is made up of school-age musicians at Laura Secord Secondary School.
