The 45's

The 45's are a group from Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom, active from 1977. They are associated with new wave and power pop.

The name has also been used by other acts, including a four-piece band from Carlisle, England, formed in 2012 by school friends James Green on vocal and harmonica, Joe Wyatt on bass and vocals, Bailey Claringbold on drums, and Tom Hamilton-Hughes on guitar and vocals, whose interest in blues and British R&B shapes their early development. Another act using the name is a two-man rock band based in the Bay Area of California.
