Tetchi

Tetchi is an electronic band based in Hebden Bridge, active since the summer of 2003. The group is known for live psychedelic grooves and presents itself as more than a laptop-led act, using live bass and drums, keyboards, squidges and laptops in performance, along with a vocalist.

The band moves between relaxed ambient material and more energetic dance-oriented sets. Its sound is linked with chill, ambient and tech dub.

Tetchi also works with visual artists Magic Lantern and Celluloid Disco, and appears at summer events and psychedelic club nights. The group is associated with Bearded Theory 2009.
