TeKlo

TeKlo is an electronic music act that emerges from the Edinburgh dubstep scene in 2010. The project’s sound centres on cool sounds, punchy beats and occasional glitchy rhythms, and develops across dubstep, drum and bass, drumstep, experimental music, electro and glitch-hop, with changes in tempo forming part of its approach.

TeKlo’s output ranges from dark, ambient, sub-heavy material to harsher, more direct tracks with strong leads. Collaborations with Subshot draw attention from DJs including ENDBOSS, Down Jones, Tactus and Taz Buckfaster, and these tracks are played at club nights in different countries.

The act receives airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Dubstep.fm, and support from KO Dubstep and Dubstep Mix. TeKlo also has releases associated with ABAGA Records.
