Svartsot

Svartsot is a folk metal group from Randers, Denmark, active since 2005. The band combines metal with folk music and a medieval atmosphere, using snarling guitars, bass, drums and lead guitar alongside folk instruments such as whistles, mandolins and bagpipes. Its lyrics draw on Danish folklore and history, and the vocals are delivered entirely in Danish.
