Sumr

Sumr is a Danish project led by Defecto guitarist Frederik Møller. It draws on technically advanced guitar playing, EDM-style grooves and pop-oriented hooks, combining elements of metal, electronic music and danceable rhythms. The project presents its music as a blend of genre influences rather than a fixed style, with references in its approach to acts such as Polyphia and Unprocessed.

Mirza Radonjica, frontman of Siamese, appears on the project’s singles. The first single, Firestarter, is performed, recorded and produced mainly by Frederik Møller, working with Chris Kreutzfeldt, who has also worked with CABAL, Møl and Ghost Iris.
