Sugar
Sugar is a Minneapolis alternative rock band active from 1992 to 1995. The group forms after the breakup of Hüsker Dü, with Bob Mould leading the project on guitar and vocals. The line-up is a trio completed by David Barbe on bass and Malcolm Travis on drums; Barbe previously plays with Mercyland, while Travis comes from Zulus and Human Sexual Response.
The band’s sound is rooted in alternative rock, with post-grunge and power pop also among its associated genres. Sugar is a 1990s alternative rock band and is based in Minneapolis in the United States.
During its original run, Sugar releases three studio albums and a collection of live tracks and B-sides before breaking up in 1995.
