Sugar Louise is a band from Trondheim, Norway, active since 2009. The group plays punk and power pop, and is also tagged as pop punk.

Formation and early activity

The band forms quickly and builds an early reputation through local activity in its region. It wins an annual rock contest after two weeks and three rehearsals, then records a three-track demo at its rehearsal space after only one more rehearsal and two further weeks. The demo is self-recorded, self-mixed and left unproduced.

The line-up includes Billy McBarbie on vocals and guitar, Øystein D. on guitars and vocals, CoolCat Casey on bass and vocals, and Eddie D'Lizard on drums.
