Stress Positions

Stress Positions are a hardcore punk band from Chicago. The group forms in 2020 during the Covid pandemic and features vocalist Stephanie Brooks with drummer Jonathan Giralt, guitarist Benyamin Rudolph and bassist Russell Harrison. Giralt, Rudolph and Harrison all come from the now-defunct C.H.E.W., where they play as drummer, guitarist and bassist respectively.

The band plays a forward-looking form of classic American hardcore punk and identifies with a jungle D-beat sound. The group is a Chicago-based US hardcore punk act.
