Stray from the Path are a hardcore punk, alternative metal, mathcore and metalcore group from Long Island, United States. They form in 2001 and remain active until 2025. The band line-up includes Drew York on vocals, Tom Williams on guitar, Anthony Altamura on bass and Craig Reynolds on drums. Other members associated with the group include Ed Edge, Frank Correira, John Kane, Justin Manas, Thomas Williams, DR€W ¥ORK, Ryan Thompson and Dan Bourke.

Background

The band starts out as a four-piece metalcore act in Long Island, New York. Their sound sits within metalcore, with the wider style tags also including chaotic hardcore and grindcore.

Record labels and touring

Stray from the Path sign to UNFD and previously release material through Sumerian Records. They tour with acts including The Acacia Strain, Architects, Bleeding Through, Comeback Kid, Counterparts, Every Time I Die, For Today, The Ghost Inside, Norma Jean, Stick to Your Guns and Underoath. The band also appears on the All Stars Tour in 2012 and 2013 and play the Warped Tour in 2014.
