Stivs

Stivs is the project of Finn O'Rourke, associated with the raggatek and breakcore side of electronic music, with tags also linking him to jungle and ragga jungle. He is a member of The DSC and is associated with Born on Road.

He is described as coming from Cambridge and as having become involved in music through local hard house parties and the Tree House Sound System of Norfolk. His style is linked to ragga-influenced bass music and related sound-system culture.

The project name is associated with a striking personal backstory and a distinct set of influences, including the sound of shopping trolleys being banged against car park walls.
