Stephen Steinbrink is a US singer-songwriter from Mesa, United States, born in 1988 and based in Arizona. He works in indie pop, singer-songwriter, dream pop, pop and art pop, and records with a home-made, lo-fi approach that includes small-run cassettes, CD-Rs and even a VHS tape.

Recording work

Steinbrink releases music under his own name and also under the moniker French Quarter, with four full-length albums issued under that name. His album Arranged Waves follows those earlier French Quarter releases. Another of his records, I Drew a Picture, expands on his established sound of tarnished folk and bedroom-pop introspection with delicate synths, driving drums and a strong emphasis on chord changes and lyrics.
