Stars Of The Search Party

Stars Of The Search Party is a post-hardcore and alternative rock group from Guildford, England, active from 2008. The band uses a 6-piece lineup and draws on rock, pop punk, metal and electro influences in its songs.

Releases

The group’s early output consists of the EPs Lost In The Dust and Lost In The Dust: Part II, which show the development of its sound. After a new vocalist joins around June 2011, the band works on a third EP, a self-titled release, which appears in 2013.

Line-up

Members include Artit Burasite Aukko on vocals, Steve Coleman and Russ Poke on guitar, Mark Lunt on synth and vocals, Robert Dowall on bass, and Callum Terry-Short Swift on drums. Earlier members also include Toby on bass, Franky on drums, and Rob on vocals for the first two EPs.

Live activity and coverage

Stars Of The Search Party plays numerous shows alongside acts including You Me At Six, Set Your Goals, We Are The Ocean, Young Guns, Me Vs Hero, A, Not Advised, Outcry Collective and Don Broco. The band also receives regular mention in Kerrang! and Rock Sound.
