Related history
The name Starling is also used by a separate Ottawa band that tours the record SUSTAINER and later completes Things You Should Have Said Before. That group plays alongside acts including Veruca Salt and Cheap Trick, records at Umbrella Studios, and appears at SXSW and NXNE. It also goes through a line-up change when guitarist and vocalist Danny Michel leaves to pursue a solo career, after which the remaining members continue work on a follow-up recording.
