Spray

Spray is a UK synthpop duo active since 2001, made up of Ricardo Autobahn and Jenny McLaren. The group forms in England after the end of their previous band, the Cuban Boys.

Career

Spray begin with the album Living In Neon, released on Ninthwave Records in the United States. The duo follow it with the single I Am Gothic in 2003, then release Children of a Laser God in 2006.

Their track I Am Gothic also appears in the Xbox game Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3.

Other work

The group are partly responsible for Glen Campbell’s return to the top of the charts in 2002 with a remake of Rhinestone Cowboy, and for the children’s act the Barndance Boys, which reaches the top 40. McLaren also works as a vocalist on club and dance records, while Autobahn writes music for soundtracks and commercials.

In 2006, Autobahn co-writes and produces the United Kingdom’s Eurovision entry Teenage Life with his long-term collaborator Daz Sampson.
