Space Ritual

Space Ritual is a UK space rock group fronted by Nik Turner. It forms in 2003 and operates as a project built around former Hawkwind singer and saxophonist Turner, with a line-up that regularly includes other former Hawkwind musicians. The group plays older Hawkwind material and is associated with the performance of that repertoire.

The act begins under the name xHawkwind, but the name changes after legal action by Dave Brock, Turner’s former Hawkwind co-founder. Members associated with the group include Dave Anderson, Thomas Crimble, Sam Ollis, Terry Ollis, Chris Purdon, Jerry Richards, Mick Slattery, Nik Turner and John Greves.
