Soulidified

Soulidified, later rebranded as Iconyx, is a male vocal group formed on the Netflix reality music competition Building the Band in 2025. The group comes together through a sight-unseen audition process, with members chosen for musical chemistry before meeting in person.

Formation and line-up

The quartet consists of Bradley Rittmann, Landon Boyce, Malik Heard and Shade Jenifer. Rittmann is a classically trained pianist and experienced performer, Boyce is known for bold and emotive vocals, Heard brings smooth R&B vocals and stage charisma, and Jenifer contributes soulful harmonies and arrangement depth.

Performances on Building the Band

Its first performance is Bruno Mars’s “Finesse”, followed by versions of Usher’s “U Remind Me” and Miguel’s “Sure Thing”. In the finale, the group performs *NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye”. During that episode, the group is introduced as Iconyx, although it is still often referred to as Soulidified. The group finishes in third place.

Reception

Soulidified is praised for tight harmonies, cohesion, stage presence and a collaborative approach. Guest judge Liam Payne describes its stage command as “amazing” and compares it favourably with other groups.

After the show

After the competition, the group remains intact and continues to collaborate, record and perform together while also pursuing solo work.
