Soul Divide
Soul Divide is a four-piece group from the metro Detroit area of Michigan. The band works in a rock style with influences from funk, blues and hip-hop, and its music is based in southeast Michigan.
Line-up
The group centres on brothers Matt Hamann on guitar and Pete Hamann on bass. They are joined by Austin Dunsen on vocals and Bryce Harding on drums.
Style and work
The band aims to combine elements from different genres rather than stay within a single one. Its sound brings together rock, funk, hip-hop and blues, with an emphasis on high energy performance and the players’ individual musical approaches.
Soul Divide releases Tell the World in 2013.
