Sonnyjim

Sonnyjim is a Birmingham-based UK rapper. He releases music through his label Eatgood Records and is associated with the groups White Girl Wasted and Pataka Boys.

Career

He releases his first solo album, The Soul Trader EP, in 2006. In 2007, he wins the UK End of the Weak rap competition. The following year he releases The Trading Standards mix CD, which includes appearances from UK hip-hop artists such as Jehst, Stig of the Dump and Soweto Kinch, with beats from Butcha and others.

Sonnyjim later releases Eatgood Records Compilation Volume 1 with artists linked to the label, including Redbeard, Kosyne, Taharka and Kelakovski. From January 2010, he begins a four-part series called Purple Patch. He also continues to appear on projects by other rap artists and labels while developing his own work.
