Soft Toy Emergency are a five-piece electro-pop band from Liverpool. The line-up is Jen on vocals, George on bass, Luciano on synths, Andy on guitar and Will on drums. They form the band in a period when house parties and drinking buckfast are part of their social scene, and they go on to play club dates, UK tours and a series of festival appearances.

The group play dance-oriented electronic pop and describe their aim as making sounds that get people moving. They appear at major UK festivals including Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, V, and the Isle of Wight. They also release two singles through Friends Vs Records and receive radio support from radio2XS, BBC Radio 1’s Jo Whiley and Huw Stephens, BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq, Nemone and Tom Robinson, and XFM’s John Kennedy. Their single Critical is re-released after the original run of releases.
