Smiler is the stage name of British hip-hop artist Joseph Bartlett-Vanderpuye, from the United Kingdom. He is associated with Woolwich in east London and begins rapping in south-east London. He describes rap as a form of expression and a daily outlet, using it to channel personal experience and to respond to music instrumentals.

The name also appears in other contexts, including a hardcore, punk and metal-oriented band from South Wales, and an early 1970s band associated with Steve Harris before he forms Iron Maiden.
