Skeptical is a drum and bass and dubstep artist from the United Kingdom. He is also known as Ashley Tindall, and is associated with Module Eight.

Career

Skeptical works as a DJ and producer in drum and bass. His releases appear on several major labels in the genre, including Ingredients Records, Exit Records, Dispatch, Renegade Hardware, Metalheadz, Soul:r, Commercial Suicide and Samurai. His Blue Eyes EP appears on Ingredients Records.

He is also one third of the team behind “Marka”, a track described as a major drum and bass release in 2011. The track is noted for its atmospheric production and strong dancefloor impact. His DJ sets are described as part of his reputation in the Renegade Hardware circle.

Style and activity

His music is described as drawing on a broad passion for sound, with a focus on heavy but detailed production. The same name is also used for another artist who begins in the early 1990s as a rave DJ in Scotland, releases downtempo and ambient EPs such as Recent Thoughts, Better Days and Society, and launches Skeptical Productions in 2006; that artist also works on collaborations and remixes.
