Skee Mask

Skee Mask is the stage name of Bryan Müller, a German DJ and producer from Munich. He is also known for work under the alias SCNTST. His music is associated with ambient, ambient techno, breakbeat, electronic, experimental electronic and hardgroove techno, and is also linked with techno, drum and bass and hip hop in broader descriptions of his style.

Career

Skee Mask releases music on the independent label Ilian Tape and is also associated with A Strange Child. He makes music built around rhythmic patterns and electronic textures, giving it an atmospheric and immersive character. His work draws on a wide range of influences, with a particular emphasis on classic techno labels including Chain Reaction, Warp Records and Counterbalance.

He releases his debut EP Serum in 2014. His first full-length album, Shred, follows in 2016 on Ilian Tape, and its success leads to additional EPs in the Ilian Skee Series. In 2018 he releases his second album, Compro, and in 2021 he issues the triple album Pool.
