Skarlett Riot

Skarlett Riot are a British hard rock group from the United Kingdom, active since 2010. The band forms around Chloe Drinkwater on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Danny Oglesby on lead guitar and backing vocals, Luke Oglesby on drums, and Tim Chambers on bass guitar and backing vocals.

Formation and early releases

The members first meet at school, where they perform under the name Fuzion. They later change their name to Skarlett Riot and release their first EP, Skarlett Riot, in 2010. Their second EP, Villain, follows in 2012 and brings them their first wider attention.

Albums, singles and touring

In 2013, the band release their first single, Faded Memory, which appears on their debut album Tear Me Down. That year, bassist Tom Mansfield leaves the group, and Martin Shepherd later joins as bassist in January 2014. With that line-up, the band perform at the Eat You Alive Festival.

In February 2015, Skarlett Riot release their third EP, We Are the Brave, and support Gus G. on his UK tour. Their EP Sentience is released in 2016, and the single Feel is issued in 2017, alongside a music video and a remix by Zardonic. Later in 2017, they release their second album, Regenerate.

Line-up changes and later work

Martin Shepherd leaves the band in early 2019, and Tim Chambers joins as the new bassist later that year. Skarlett Riot then release their third album, Invicta, in 2021.
